In January 2023, Surplex acquired the majority of shares in HT Hanseatische Industrie-Consult GmbH. One of Germany's leading insolvency service providers is now part of the Surplex Group. HT continues to operate independently and runs its own auction platform, but uses synergies. While HT brings its comprehensive insolvency expertise to the Surplex Group, Surplex provides the strongest selling auction platform in the industry as well as Europe-wide resources. In the field of valuation and auction of mobile fixed assets and industrial goods HT is one of the leading service providers in Germany. The company's headquarters in Hamburg and offices in five other German states offer appraisals for all industries and in all sizes throughout Germany. HT is commissioned by renowned insolvency administrators, leasing companies and banks. Up to 500 expert appraisals are prepared annually. With its value appraisals and insolvency auctions, HT is a significant factor on the German insolvency market. Its list of references includes the Schlecker Group, Schwerin/Parchim Airport, the Lloyd shipyard in Bremerhaven and the long-established Pella-Siestas shipyard in Hamburg. Surplex complements this expertise with a powerful auction platform, unique full service and offices in 16 European countries. Tom Thomsen (left) and Holger Haun (right) founded HT Hanseatische industrie Consult GmbH over 25 years ago. The two insolvency experts guarantee the continuity of the company in terms of personnel and content even after the sale. At the beginning of 2023, former Surplex manager Christoph Partzsch (center) joined HT's management team as a new member. The former division manager for insolvency auctions with many years of professional experience successfully built up the brand » Valuplex at Surplex, among others.

Uli Stalter, Ghislaine Duijmelings and Michael Werker (from left to right) form the strong trio of Surplex GmbH. Under their leadership, Surplex is constantly on a growth path.
